Manchester Airport Alpha Echo

Gill Civil Engineering Limited (GCEL) was appointed to undertake the rehabilitation of Taxiway Alpha Echo at Manchester Airport by Galliford Try. GCEL installed a total of 7,700 m² of dry lean concrete in layers on the taxiway. All concrete installed was tested in accordance with DIO Specification 051. The work was carried out during day shifts in an airside working environment.
