Manchester Airport PP03 – Phase 1

Gill Civil Engineering Limited (GCEL) were appointed to undertake the installation of pavement quality concrete (PQC) at the Manchester Airport Transformation Project PP03. With the large volumes of PQC and lean mix concrete required for the project, GCEL set up a dedicated on-site batching plant for the works and a UKAS-accredited concrete testing laboratory to ensure concrete demands were always met.
